June 25, 2008, The Chords Bridge, a cantilever spar cable-stayed bridge built for the Jerusalem light rail is inaugurated. Designed to carry the trams over a busy intersection and a glass-sided pedestrian crossing, the bridge was not without controversy itself. It has since become part of the complex mosaic of life that is encompassed in the Jerusalem light rail as see in From Man to Man, We Pass Like Strangers
