24 September 1950, Operation Magic Carpet airlifts the last Jews form Yemen. For more than a year international cooperation with British and American air transport companies secretly brought these Jews to Israel, with the story only becoming public months after its conclusion. It would be easy to catalog this ancient Jews community as monolithic, however as Two Legacies documents, the communal rifts in Yemen were carried over to their new homeland.
