I Am A Mountain Jew : The Untold Story


    September 20, 1942 German troops killed 420 Mountain Jews near the village of Bogdanovka. While many members of this community survived because German authorities considered this group to be “religious” but not “racial” Jews, and they lived in largely inaccessible areas, between 1000-1500 were murdered during the Holocaust. I am a Mountain Jew is the untold story of this unique and ancient community of Jews.
