3 September 1941, the first test use of Zyklon-B gas at the Auschwitz death camp occurs. It would become the Nazis preferred method in the camps, eventually killing roughly one million people. Years later Ulla, daughter of the manufacturer of the gas containers will fall in love with Shraga, a Holocaust survivor, whose family was murdered in Auschwitz.
