October 15, 1894 Captain Alfred Dreyfus is arrested for treason on trumped up charges in what would be known as “The Dreyfus Affair”. The undercurrent of Anti-Semitism would haunt France for decades, even after Dreyfus was pardoned and set free. Over a century later, the same issues are still apparent in French culture as seen in Communities in a New Light – Toulouse.
